The leaderboard now ranks by TGP
The leaderboard now ranks by TGP (Total Grade Points): the grade points from every course you've passed, added up. Add yours to get your rank.
Why the change
GPA alone isn't a fair comparison. A first-year with one course at 4.0 had the same GPA as a final-year with a whole degree at 4.0. TGP grows with every course you pass, so it reflects both your grades and the work behind them.
What you need to do
Add your TGP. It's Total Grade Points in your SRMS Academic Profile, and Find your TGP on SRMS shows exactly where, with screenshots. Then enter it:
- in the pop-up that asks for it on your next visit, or
- with Update GPA / TGP on the leaderboard or in Settings.
Until you add it, you're still on the leaderboard, listed at the end without a rank.
Prefer the old view? Tap Rank by GPA above the leaderboard. You can also add each year's TGP, so a single year's results can rank by the points earned that year.
